Jil Hardin is a seasoned filmmaker and creative line producer with over 30 years of experience bringing cinematic visions to life for global brands, artists, directors, and celebrities. Among her notable projects is the fan short Power Rangers: Unauthorized Bootleg Universe, the feature film Bodied, a battle rap comedy-drama co-produced by Eminem, and the Golden Globe-winning concert film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, which broke box office records. Jil’s work spans multiple genres, from music-driven films to compelling documentaries, with a particular focus on projects that merge culture, artistry, and social relevance.
Jil’s career in the industry began as a segment coordinator for the VH-1 show Naked Café, eventually leading to a staff position as an in-house commercial coordinator at Palomar Pictures, where she honed her craft. In 1999, she transitioned into producing, starting with music videos and advertising commercials, garnering a Grammy in 2001 for Ricky Martin “She Bangs” Best Music Video. Her 2004 project Rhythm City, a viral long-form music video starring Usher and directed by Director X, was a pivotal moment in her career.
Continuing to work with diverse artists in all genres, Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, Rap, & R&B to high fashion luxury brands and Celebrity clients. She continues to push creative boundaries in both narrative film and documentary spaces.
As the owner of the boutique production company Source Pictures Inc., based in Los Angeles, Jil continues to produce and develop film, television, and documentary projects. Whether supporting existing teams or assembling new collaborators, she is known for her ability to elevate artistic visions and deliver on high-profile, cross-platform productions.
